News Flash:

Many of you will have already heard of the sad death from cancer of Mrs. Liz Williams from Natal, who was the elected judge for Hatfield Kennel Club; we have already expressed our sympathy to her husband, Tony. In her place we are very pleased to be bringing a new face to the center of the Championship Show ring in this country and one who is all Breeds, all Groups, and BIS approved under KUSA regulations, Mrs. L Wilson, and we trust you will all give her a very warm welcome for agreeing to step into the breach at such short notice.

"Mrs. Lois Wilson from Natal, South Africa, the replacement judge for Hatfield Kennel Club's Ch. Show in Harare, Zimbabwe, on Sunday, 26 June, in place of the late Mrs. Liz Williams who died recently, will be well known to all long time exhibitors, as she is the daughter of the late Dennis and Laurie Rowland of Marlborough, Harare, who were so well known with their Gundogs.  As Lois Rowland she was a top Junior Handler of many breeds, amongst them being Shepherds, Irish Setters, and her family's kennel of English Setters, both Orange, and Blue Belton’s.  After her marriage to Brian Wilson (also from this country) she moved to the South Coast of Natal where she established her own kennel name of Sibra and kept not only Shepherds, but also Border Collies, Siberian Huskies and Shiba Inus amongst other breeds.  Today she is qualified under the Kennel Union of Southern Africa's regulations to judge all Breeds, all Groups and Best in Show at Championship Show level and this is her first Ch. Show judging assignment in Zimbabwe."
