Condolences Ann Hancock’s Conan died on 1st March having stomach torsion, his brother Nero [Gail’s] also died of stomach torsion earlier. Leigh’s Jonty had to be put to sleep, which was very sad
News Ann Hancock was attacked. I have contacted her and the correct story see her E-mail comments.
E-mail contact via the Website: Don’t know who told you about me being attacked, but as usual these stories do grow, yes I was beaten up for an hour and a half with lots of verbal abuse in between but did not end up in hospital just booked off work for a week as my Dr could not stop the headaches and bleeding from the ears and on the Friday she discovered I had two dislocated vertebras high up in my neck but am just fine now thanks for your concern.
Do you know what stands for S S S ? Shinga the Sucking Shepherd. Unbelievable when I saw this dog. After she had had her food she would settle down on her own bedspread and started sucking a small bit of the blanket, no matter what I did to take these pictures from all angles she kept sucking and would close her eyes and change the position of her paws, to give it the occasional kneading as if she was still at her mothers tummy. At times she had her eyes open and then again closed them in complete ecstasy. Has any of you ever seen or heard about a sucking dog? Where Shinga was trained, the trainer had heard of a case.
Bulawayo Kennel Club The 5-Show Weekend in Bulawayo, held in conjunction with the Agricultural Section of the Trade Fair, increased their entry and had Percy Green and Coen Huyzers, both from South Africa, judging, along with Alex McKinlay from Zambia doing the Group Ch. Shows and the weekend was sponsored by PEDIGREE. Due to the success of the Weekend, it will again next year, 2007, be held with the Trade Fair on 28/29 April 2007. Masses of people crowding around the rings with the dogs. Sometimes four rows deep, where we had to take our dogs through to come into the ring. Results see pictures.
