News:

I participated in the 8 o’clock doggy walk for the SPCA. It went through woodlands and you could not see nor hear traffic and not to believe we were in the middle of Harare. Lovely trees and many birds, which can be observed, better in the early hours of the morning. The dogs passed a very dark sable just on the other side of the fence and also two donkeys, walked over a bridge and later came near the river where some dogs straight away took a dive into the water. Back at the front of the Woodlands, busy with stalls being set up and later the judging of various dogs in a fun breed show with Iona Bartozs as the Judge. The Pedigree stand did good business with selling their products.

Quite often think of how she [and Paul Greeff] are doing in the GSD world. When looking through the show reports have seen a few pictures of not only her, but also our other friends.  Will check the website for the Trade Fair Shows which have just finished. Our congratulations to all those winners in the shows. Always look forward to seeing pictures as well!!!!  Keep in touch. Love and regards to all. Barry Meg and Robyn [Spook]

Herding and Working Breeds club of Matabeleland on April 30.
Previous newsletter had the results of the other shows, it became too big to put them all in one newsletter, so apologies to have these in the June news.
HWM was judged by Mr. McKinley and had Talia as 1st BIS and Cindy’s new Rottweiler 2nd BIS.

And then there was Liebchen having a good sunny day and enjoying the beach kind of atmosphere. She was entered in MCA, BKC as well as the Toy club. All three she managed to get a CC and competed in the BIS line up. Hard work and so she needed a well-earned rest, with her sunglasses on she made the most of it.

MCA & Herding & Working Club

Just after lunch all was judged and the results see pictures. Mr. Coen Huysers from South Africa judged all dogs.

McKinley’s Papillon 1st BIS

Paul Greeff’s Talia 2nd in BIS

George Whitney’s R Ridgeback 3rd in BIS

Bruce Watson’s French Bulldog came 4th in BIS
